Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief and financial support to communities throughout the United States. The program began in 1994 with 34 families in Monroe, Georgia and has grown to serve approximately 500,000 families each month all across the nation. The Angel Food Outreach program offers name brand food at a substantial discount.
Once a month, you or (someone you want to help) can be blessed with wonderful boxes of fresh meats, vegetables and fruit, and staple items at an extremely low price! For $30.00, you receive 14 to 16 food items including beef, chicken, vegetables, fruits, eggs, and desserts to feed a typical family of 4 for a week, or to feed one person for a month. There are no second-hand, damaged or out-dated items. No day-old items, dented cans without labels or produce that is almost too ripe. The food quality is what you would expect to find at any local supermarket for an average of $42-$78. There are also add-on specialty boxes available to order each month with several varieties to choose from…Steak & Chicken boxes, fresh fruit & veggie boxes, seafood boxes, etc. There is no limit to the number of units an individual can purchase and there are no applications to complete or qualifications to which participants must adhere.
